This past year has been quite interesting:(See following.)

-11 months and 26 days until I come home. (I cannot wait. [Korea? You do not want to come here.])

-I've established who my REAL friends are. (You guys [emphasize on guys]are the best. We've been through hell and back and we're going to go through it again, but we know whats up.)

-I've totally grown up in every sense. (Thank you military.)

-I've learned not to take things for granted. (i.e. MY brother, he's in Iraq fighting to help the Iraqis and to give them a chance at a better life. [Hurry come home! October is the month, God willing.])

Lastly and most exciting:(The best thing that has ever happend to me.)
-Marriage is of the essence. (I love you babe.)

good news, well nick and i got a puppy yesterday. it is a pug, exactly what we wanted. the bad horrible news is that nicks dad is super mad that nick got a dog. i guess nick didn't tell him that we were getting a dog. its sort of wierd because Rick used to breed pugs. I wonder what the deal is, so anyways the puppy is temporarily at my house (so if anyone wants to come see it they can!) the puppy is named Jake. He is super attatched to me and he can't stand being alone. he peed all over my room and house and yeah thats all. i have to check on the puppy ... dang

these entries are a series of adventures on the quest that Nick and I are on... objective: find a puppy (perferably a pug), and love it like no other
today was rather interesting. nick and i continued on our puppy search, and it ended in disaster! We both would really like a pug, but unfortunately pugs are quite expensive, so we were looking for a nice small, less expensive dog. so we see this rat terrier, and its super cute, calm, just great, so we ask the lady if we could play with the puppy. just then we see this boston terrier, its going crazy in its cage thing, since nick and i are suckers for animals in distress, we decide that we should see that one instead. As it turns out, that dog was super hyper active and it wouldn't play with us at all, it scratched nick's neck and totally scratched my foot up and then it got crazy and was jumping all over, and since it was teething it started bleeding, and it got blood all over us, it was horrible, i felt so bad for the poor puppy. it was a little disheartening. Lets see how day two goes tomorrow...

Dang, I finally graduated yesterday, woo. Congrats to all the classes of 2004!
Anyways graduation was okay, my parents, brother and Nick went. I got money from an aunt that lives and San Diego, I got more money from my parents, they said that they want me to save it, but we will see how that goes lol. We then went to Claim Jumper ( i hate that place and i weill never go there again as long as i live).Last but not least I got shoes from Nick! He's so thoughtful. We went to Bodhi tree for dinner and then we got coconut ice cream and fried bananas yum! Speaking of Nick, I am planning to get Nick a dog, as sort of an early birthday present. (since i won't be here in august ) but we are not sure what kind we are going to get yet, but we know that its going to have to be a little dog. Hopefully we will get it tomorrow. Yay, no more high school!

it has been good times. Nick took me to the zoo a while ago. it was rather sad. but we looked on the brighter side, we said that the animals that were there were probably sick and then saved or they were taken away from poachers. that made us feel a lot better. then we went to native foods and celebrated. it was rather delicious. nick is ill, hopefully he gets better soon. still no internet at home, its okay though, it has forced me out of the house and made me a little more social (=, but other than that everything is the same... oh i almost forgot i got a raise at work, i make 6.95 now (i know... woo freaking hoo))

yesterday Nick and I saw Mona Lisa Smile( may i add that movie is a tad on the boring side) anyways, after that Nick took me home because he had to visit his grandparents, its was good times nevertheless. then a friend from work randomly calls me and tells me that we are going to go christmas carol-ing i was like um okay, so we went, it turned out great! we got money, all sorts of candy/food! LOL haha. and i saw an old friend from this medical class that i took, her name is Nancy and she was sisters with my friends friend(such a small world!!) she had her baby, she named her Alissa, she is the cutest ever. but anyways today was fun times, luckily my brother was able to be home for the holidays, its always nice to spend time with him. I didn't get that many things, im glad though, it looks like im getting LASIK soon, and also my mini cooper (=, i got a new digital camera, lots of money, boxing gloves! (the greatest of my gifts), and other good stuff, Christmas is/was good, life is okay, work sucks, thats about it!

Its been a while...

I haven't updated in forever. Tons of things have came and gone. Well to begin, my brother came home! It was so great to see him! He got sort of injured but now he's a tough Marine! That didn't last too long (like other things) he went back to Camp Pendelton for some more additional training, hopefully he has a good time. What else... um I went to the Simon and Garfunkel concert last night! Oh man, i really enjoyed it(im such a nerd sometimes), we had good seats, I could actually see their faces without binoculars lol, but yeah that was great.
Hopefully if everything goes as planned, I should be getting my tattoo tomorrow!
*Since the last time I've updated i've realized a lot of things, and thats all I have to say about that.

dang this weekend has been crazy. a little late i know..but anyways. i started my clinical at the nursing home this weekend. it was quite an experience, i have to take care of 8 residents, taking care as in feeding, bathing, helping them in every way that they might need . there was this resident there, an older man . i have so much respect and sympathy for him, see he is from Croatia and he doesn't speak any english at all. my mission is to learn a little Croation, i have looked up how to say some things in Croatian. I would like to do everything i can to help him, i have no idea how it would feel not being able to communicate with anyone at time when you are most vunerable. (if there is anyone that can help me... please do!) the overall experience was overwhelming, on the way home i cried and i couldn't stop. its mostly from personal experience (my grandmother was in a nursing home the last few months of her life) but its depressing to think about life and how we take the littlest things for granted.

There are many reasons why i decided to do it... but there is only one particular reason that i say is honorable by far. today was the first day of school... dang it was okay i guess dang those ASB kids stole the table that we were going to get..dang well my schedule is so messed up..they didn't even give me spanish 4 what the heck is that all about?! and the teacher that im TAing for has a student teacher so im going to have to change my schedule so i could TA the class period that she is actually teaching...dang well i will shut up..it was so great seeing everyone again.... we have to be sure that we get a table tomorrow guys!!!
